In 1998, cricket was first played at Commonwealth Games. Fifty-over matches were played with List A status. CWG 2022 women's cricket inclusion will only be the second time that cricket will be played at the Commonwealths.

The month of July 2022 will be remembered in the history of women’s cricket. It will mark their first time at Commonwealth Games. This inclusion is looked upon as positive for the advancement of the game. All matches will be played at Edgbaston, Birmingham. All matches will have the status of T20Is. Date

The matches will be played beginning 29th July. India and Australia will lock horns in the first contest. Later, the final will be played on August 7th.

Time

While the group stages matches will be played in two slots. at 15:30 IST and 22:30 IST. The same is the case with the two semi-finals. Whereas, the Bronze and Gold Medal matches will be played at 14:30 and 21:30 IST respectively.

Venue

All Group A and Group B matches will be played at Edgbaston, Birmingham. Moreover, the Semi-Finals and Finals will be played there as well.

Live Streaming and Telecast

Reports suggest that ICC TV will live telecast the match. In addition, the Live Streaming of the Commonwealth Games 2022 will be available on the SonyLiv app.
