In the PSG vs Troyes match at the Parc de Princes, Troyes played brilliantly, only to fall victim to Messi and Neymar’s brilliance. Troyes managed to stun PSG by taking lead in the game twice, but unfortunately were found chasing the game in the end. The Messi and Neymar Show
Considered by many as the best football player on the planet, Lionel Messi owned the pitch once again. Messi was very pro-active in the game from the start, and yet once again when his side needed him, Leo delivered. Leo Messi scored a sizzling goal in the 55th minute when PSG was found trailing once again by 2-1. Messi brought PSG back in the game via long range goal, while assisting Neymar in the 62nd minute.
The Brazillian striker who is in top form with 10 Ligue 1 goals already, also found the back of the net when he aligned with Lionel Messi’s brilliant vision. Additionally, he was the one who set Carlos Soler for the first goal for the Paris side along with almost another wonderful assist for Mbappe where Neymar took the entire Troyes defense out of the equation, only to see a wonderful save by the Troyes’ goalkeeper.
PSG vs Troyes: PSG with some problems in the defense
Although, PSG defeated Troyes scoring 4 goals, but they conceded 3 goals because of poor defending. In the 52nd minute when a cross found Troyes striker Balde, PSG defense was too lazy to close him down. As a consequence, Balde had too much time to turn and found the back of the net beating Gianluigi Donnarumma for the second time in the match. Additionally, in the 88th minute, PSG’s defense could not clear their lines and the Croatian substitute for Troyes, Palaversa found the back of the net.
Christophe Galtier (PSG’s Coach) will have some serious problems to solve at the back if he intends to lift the UEFA Champions League title with the Paris side.

Paris dominated the possession of the ball in the entire game, but were stunned by the 3rd minute counter attack strike by Balde. Troyes found them in front, and survived doing so, only for another 20 minutes, as Neymar’s beautiful penetrating through ball found Carlos Soler and Soler scored his second goal of the session. The half time saw both sides at 1-1.
Seven minutes into the second half and PSG conceded another goal as Balde scored his second goal in the 52nd minute. PSG were trailing 2-1 and Troyes started to defend deeper and because of this Messi found himself in space to shoot and found the back of the net with a stunning strike in the 55th minute. Soon, after in the 62nd minute, Messi saw the run of Neymar, and Neymar put PSG forward for the first time in the game. PSG still continued to attack and Soler won a penalty for PSG, which Mbappe converted in the 77th minute of the game. The final goal of the game was scored by Palaversa when his header found the back of the net in the 88th minute.

Troyes is although on the 11th spot in the Ligue 1 table, but they played like a top side against the strong PSG side. PSG now stands 5 points Clear of Lens at the top of the table, with 35 points having played 13 games.
