The Indian men’s cricket team will travel to the Caribbean islands in the latter half of 2022. Where they will feature in a three-match ODI series and will also play five T20 Internationals. India in 2016 & 2019 too has faced West Indies in the USA and has played a total of four matches. The Indian squad are likely to play two T20 internationals against the Carribeans in the United States later this year. According to a report by Cricbuzz, the final two matches of the T20I series will take place in the United States. Like the previous two times, Lauderhill, Florida, will be the host of a couple of matches.

India’s limited overs tour of West Indies is expected to be played between the third week of July and the early days of August. It is also reported that after completing the IPL 2022, India will face South Africa at home. They will then travel to England for three T20Is and ODI match series. Besides that, the Men in Blue will also play the rescheduled fifth Test against the hosts at The Oval. The Test was originally supposed to take place in September last year during the five-match series but got postponed after the Indian camp was hit by Covid-19 cases.

India is expected to travel to the West Indies directly from England. The schedule of the series in the Caribbean has not yet been announced. But Cricbuzz said that three ODIs will precede the five T20Is following which the West Indies players will join their respective franchises in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), which will kick off on August 29.

Most likely, the two matches will be played on August 6 and 7. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has already announced that West Indies and the USA will jointly host the ICC Twenty20 World Cup in 2024.
