Veer Mahaan was born on 8 August 1988 in Gopiganj, Uttar Pradesh, India. His real name is Rinku Singh Rajput. Rinku Singh is a former professional baseball player and is currently signed to WWE where he performs under the ring name Veer Mahaan on the Raw brand. Singh was the first Indian to play professional baseball in the United States under the Pittsburgh pirates. There is also a movie named The Million Dollar Arm (2008) based on Rinku Singh’s life. Veer Mahaan is 6ft 4in tall and weighs around 276 pounds. He signed his first WWE contract in January 2018. At first, he competed in the NXT tag team Indus Sher, with Shanky and Jinder Mahaal being his partners. However, he arrived on the main roster in May 2020 with the stage name Veer. The name later evolved to Veer Mahaan in 2021.

Veer Mahaan grew up in poverty. He was the son of a truck driver and lived in the rural village of Gopiganj, Uttar Pradesh, India. He was one of the nine siblings who all lived in a one-room house. Singh was a junior national javelin medalist as well. Rinku Singh is a very religious person. He became vegetarian in 2012 after he witnessed several men in bhadohi chasing a chicken to kill it. He also said that he used to recite Hanuman Chalisa and listened to Eminem’s song not afraid before pitching during his baseball career. His net worth is estimated at around $5-10 Million.
