Ronda Rousey ready to move on from Charlotte and ‘That Title’

Former WWE Raw Women’s Champion and WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey might be heading towards a new direction after recently losing her title to Charlotte Flair.

Flair Rains On Rousey’s Parade

Just two weeks back, in 2022’s last edition of SmackDown, Ronda Rousey descended from a moment of rejuvenation to utter despair. Ronda Rousey probably thought she had everything under her control. Rousey successfully defended her title after she applied her volatile arm-bar on Raquel Rodriguez, forcing the latter to tap out. But the joy was short-lived.

A returning Charlotte Flair soon challenged her long-time nemesis Rousey to a championship match. It is here that Rousey’s temper got the better of her and she accepted the challenge. Unfortunately, for the former MMA star, she would succumb to defeat at the hands of ‘The Queen’ after a quick roll-up and consequently, lose her WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. Ronda Rousey Sets Her Eyes On The Tag Team Championship

Rousey received an intriguing question during her gaming stream on YouTube. She was asked when she would reclaim her lost WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. Rousey gave an unexpected answer. She stated, “I don’t know, guys, I’m kind of tired of Charlotte. I’m tired of that title. I already did it, you know? I’m thinking of taking over the tag division.”

The current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion is Dama CTRL, comprising Dakota Kai and IYO SKY. This recent statement made by Ronda Rousey suggests that we can expect to see her dominate the tag team division along with her friend and fellow mixed martial artist, Shayna Bazler. Rousey has never won the Women’s Tag Team Championship despite being a multi-time WWE Women’s Champion. Also Read: Sasha Banks Makes A Shocking Exit From WWE And Joins NJPW
