Paige, a recently departed WWE Superstar, was open about the impact her leaked nude photos had on her life. Explicit photos of the former Divas Champion were published in 2017 while she was employed by WWE without her permission.
The 29-year-old discussed how she thought about committing suicide after the pictures were posted online during a recent chat with Renee Paquette on The Sessions.
“It was just the most awful moment of my life. Like I couldn’t believe it was real at first because I was like, fg 19, and I was like completely fg mortified. I ran out the house land I just kept fg running dude. I never wish that upon anyone because that’s the most vulnerable part of you. It’s just like on the internet. I felt so fg stupid and I felt so embarrassed and I was already like a fg cokehead at this time and loved to drink and st like that. So I was like feeling like and that really fg got me at rock bottom where I just like was I didn’t want to be alive anymore dude, it’s fg awful. I just was so f**g sad.” — Paige

Who is Paige?
Paige is the stage name for Saraya-Jade Bevis, a retired professional wrestler from England who was born on August 17, 1992. She is best recognised for her tenure with WWE, where she was the first NXT Women’s Champion and a two-time (and youngest) WWE Divas Champion. Bevis made her professional wrestling debut in 2005 at the age of 13 for her family’s World Association of Wrestling banner under the ring name Britani Knight. Due to injuries, Paige took a break in 2015 and 2016, having neck surgery in October 2016. She was unable to continue competing in a match in December 2017 due to a neck impact injury.
At the age of 25, Paige officially retired from in-ring combat in 2018 owing to an injury. She has held managing positions and contributes to WWE-related initiatives. Paige was crowned Diva of the Year by Rolling Stone in 2014 and placed first in Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Female 50. The WWE Year-End Award for General Manager of the Year was given to her in 2018.
