Suryakumar Yadav Is Now Ranked As The No. 1 T20I Batter in the ICC Rankings

Suryakumar Yadav has attained the top rank among T20I batters in the latest ICC Rankings. Yadav has surpassed Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan to become the highest-ranked T20I batter. Suryakumar Yadav, famously SKY, has everyone in a chokehold through his recent performances. The 32-year-old batter is now regarded as Mr. 360 for his ability to play shots in every part of the ground. Moreover, the swashbuckling player is standing at the edge of scoring 1000 runs in a calendar year. If he manages to attain the feat, he’ll be the first Indian to score the record.

Suryakumar Yadav walks on the pitch and ensures fireworks for the time he stays there. This has been the template for the fans for quite some time now. Yadav’s play type is blazing for the fans and leaves the opponents clueless against his ruthless hitting. However, Yadav restores the anchoring skills too that he put on show while playing against South Africa recently. SKY, in turn, scored 68 off 40 balls in the match where the Indian top order collapsed in the face of the South African bowling attack.

The colossal talent has scored consistently in the format with a considerably high strike rate in the recent past. Consequently, Yadav has 863 points in his ICC tally, the second-best by any Indian only after Virat Kohli. Suryakumar Yadav has achieved this special within only a year of his debut in the format.
