Virat Kohli has made it into a habit of bashing new records on a regular basis. The 33-year-old batter is putting a class apart show of skills in the ongoing T20 World Cup. In the latest match of India against Bangladesh, Kohli smashed another half-century. And while doing so, Kohli has registered a major record up his name. Despite struggling through form issues for quite some time in the recent past, King Kohli as the fans address him has roared back like never before. And as of now, he’s been dismissed only once in the tournament where he has played 4 innings. And the other three games witnessed Kohli getting to a half-century in each of them. His current average in the tournament stands at a blazing 220.

Virat’s recent knocks have been near-perfect in every aspect. He scores run at an active strike rate, he looks comfortable facing pace as well as spin deliveries, and he decorates his knocks with skillfully articulated boundaries. Kohli, currently, is setting an exemplar case of “as better as it gets”. And his string of heroics in the tournament has made him the highest run-scorer in the history of the tournament.
