Toby Haddad after cracking the top 20, Maia of Brazil was named the Most Improved Player of the Year. After missing three major tournaments last year due to the birth of her second daughter, German player Tatjana Maria was awarded the Comeback Player of the Year after making it to her maiden Grand Slam semifinal at Wimbledon.
