Miami GP 2022 Winner: All Constructors & Racers Points & Ranks and Performance

Max Verstappen after starting from P3 overcame Le Clerc and Sainz to win the race.

The 24-year-old Max Verstappen was crowned the champion for the consecutive race at the Autodromo. The Miami GP 2022 didn’t disappoint and was a huge success in terms of race and turnout. The morning at Hard Rock Stadium was flushed with A-List Celebrities and thousands of fans.

Alfa Romeo

Valtteri Bottas once again shined in his new outfit as he finished P6. He raced in a masterful fashion and was consistent in steering the team. He added points to the team and inched them closer to the fourth.

However, his teammate Zhou Guanyu was a disappointment. He couldn’t finish the race after he retired from the race. It was just six laps into the race when the Chinese faced technical issue.
Alfa Romeo: 31pts (5th)
Valtteri Bottas: 30 pts (8th) , Zhou Guanyu 1 pt (16th)

Alpine Renault

Alpine had a wonderful day at Miami GP 2022. Both of their drivers got placed at the finish line. Esteban Ocon drove from the back of the grid and finished P8. He couldn’t finish the qualifying and his race was the one of the most prolific races the team has played in years

Alonso who started from behind rows overcame some key names and raced into the championship points. He earned himself another point in the leader’s table.
Alpine Renault: 26pts (6th)
Fernando Alonso: 2 pt (15th), Esteban Ocon: 24 pts (9th)

Alpha Tauri

Alpha Tauri was dissapointed by their performance in the Miami GP 2022. The Taurus drivers Gasly and Tsunoda both didn’t make it to the points table. Gasly wasn’t able to finish the race and had to withdraw at the 17th position

On the other hand, Tsunoda steered clear of being trapped but couldn’t make it to the top ten.
Alpha Tauri: 16 pts (7th)
Pierre Gasly: 6 pts (13th) , Yuki Tsunoda 10 points (12th)

Haas Racing

Kevin Magnussen continued his stellar return with Haas consistently making the points table in almost every races. He finished at the P9 position and defended his position in the Top 10 of the driver standings. Kevin has been an impeccable addition to the Haas Racing. His performance is deeply applauded as he drives so perfectly despite his back issues.


However his teammate struggled so hard this race. Mick Schumacher finished the race at P17 just above McLaren’s Daniel Ricciardo who had to start last after chipping Sainz and Bottas in the first lap.
Haas Racing: 15pts (8th)
Kevin Magnussen: 15pts (10th) , Mick Schumacher: 0pt (19th)

Aston Martin

Aston Martin had an eventful Sunday. They had both their drivers in the Top 10. Among the drivers who grab a championship point. Former Champion Vettel claimed the 8th position.


Lance Stroll fend off Albon and Russell as he finished at the tenth position grabbing his first point of the season
Aston Martin: 6pt (9th)
Sebastian Vettel: 4pts (14th), Lance Stroll: 2pt (17th)

Williams Racing

Williams Racing is trying to fill in the void of George Russell with Alex Albon who is clearly coming up to the same level as Russel. Albon who drove in a great fashion was yet again unlucky to steal a point.


Nicholas Latifi crossed the line in P14 to cap off the team’s first trip to the Magic City. Both of their drivers made a clean getaway, and with the Aston Martin pair both starting in the pit lane, we jumped two positions to P16 and P18, respectively.
Williams Racing: 3pt (10th)
Alex Albon: 3 pt (15th), Nicholas Latifi: 0 pt (21st)

Scuderia Ferrari

At their home turf, Ferrari went crashing down. The leader of the driver’s table, Charles Le Clerc crashed during the final laps when he was at P3 and destroyed his front gear. From there he fell to P9 from where he finished at P6. It was just sad to watch the young driver having hard time to control the tires later on.


Carlos Sainz, the other driver had the worst day as he crashed out of the race. He was tangled by Daniel Ricciardo of McLaren and ended the race on the sidelines.
Scuderia Ferrari: 157 pts (1st)
Charles Le Clerc: 104 pts (1st), Carlos Sainz: 53pts (5th)

Mercedes

The British driver and the most celebrated F1 Driver once again failed to perform well in this season. Lewis Hamilton has been a great let-down for the Mercedes as he suffered yet again proving his worth. He finished the race at P14.


However, the young George Russell showed that here is no problem with the engine as against what many Mercedes fans claimed by finishing at P4.
Mercedes Racing: 95pts (3rd)
George Russell: 59 pts (4th), Lewis Hamilton: 36 pts (6th)

McLaren Mercedes

McLaren had one of their worst nightmares at the Hard Rock Stadium. Both of the drivers fell out of the Championship rankings. When the young Brit Lando Norris failed to finish after the disastrous crash he had. Ricciardo could not pull himself from the slumps and push himself into the top positions and grab a point. McLaren would be busy reevaluating all their mistakes here
McLaren Mercedes: 46pts (4th)
Lando Norris: 35pts (7th), Daniel Ricciardo: 11pts (11th)

Red Bull Racing

Red Bull had a great outing at the new track yesterday. Max Verstappen after starting from P3 overcame Le Clerc and Sainz to win the race. Red Bull has also inched closer to the leaders of the Driver’s Championship.

Sergio Perez has maintained a close call to the Dutch The Mexican charmingly called Checo finished fourth in the race and is constantly trying to reach the podium on all occasions. With the combined effort, RBR is reaching heights.
Red Bull Racing: 151 pts (2nd)
Max Verstappen: 85 points (2nd), Sergio Perez: 66 pts (3rd)
