Debbie Harrison asked PWHL crayon, Crayola Heard; Crayola Canada introduces Powerplay Plum.

Crayola, the leading name in crayon and color business introduced Powerplay Plum as the Unofficial Crayola Purple Color of the Day. The move is attributed to Debbie Harrison and PWHL.

The introduction follows Debbie Harrison, an avid PWHL fan’s request. The 64-year-old-lady showcased a placard stating that Crayola needs to introduce a new purple honouring PWHL.

The Crayola Canada thanked the PWHL and Debbie Harrison for allowing them to be a part of this wonderful journey. PWHL, on its first season, has driven crowds to stadiums to watch players duel it out.

Debbie Harrison shot into popularity after her creative outfits went popular. Debbie, an avid hockey fan didn’t recieve her jersey on time, which then sparked her creativity. She came as a crayon leading to this memorable gesture from Crayola. One of her most creative outfits was the Referee Acknowledging Outfit she adorned. The Toronto Roster Button Jersey also trended on the socials.

The inaugural season of PWHL has six teams: Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Boston, New York, and Minnesota. The league has been a success so far, not just in terms of money but has also since beginning boosted the sport.
