1. Glenn McGrath (7 wickets)
The Australian Pacer, Glenn McGrath, took seven wickets and gave only 15 runs against the Namibia cricket team. This match was during the 2003 ICC World Cup, when Glenn McGrath smoked the Namibian side.
He picked seven wickets, and these were his seven wickets. Jan Berrie Burger, Morne Karg, Danie Keulder, Gavin Murgatroyd, Deon Kotze, Louis Burger, and Bjorn Kotze.

2. Andy Bichel (7 wickets)
A few days later, another Australian player, Andy Bichel, took seven wickets. He took 7 wickets and gave only 20 runs in his spell of 10 overs. It was against England in the 2003 ODI World Cup.
Nick Knight, Michael Vaughan, Nasser Hussian, Alec Stewart, Paul Collingwood, Andrew Flintoff, and Ashley Giles were his wickets. He single-handedly destroyed the English batting order.
3. Tim Southee (7 wickets)
The New Zealand pacer, Tim Southee, took seven wickets against the England cricket team and only gave 33 runs. This match took place in the 2015 ODI World Cup when the New Zealand pacer picked seven wickets.
Four out of his seven wickets were clean-bowled, and all the middle-order players lost their wickets against him. Ian Bell, Moeen Ali, James Taylor, Jos Buttler, Chris Woakes, Stuart Broad, and Steven Finn were his wickets.

4. Winston Davis (7 wickets)
You know, when the list is about World Cup records, West Indies players have their place reserved in it. The West Indies fast bowler Winston Davis took seven wickets against Australia in the 1983 ODI World Cup.
He picked the wickets of Kim Hughes, David Hookes, Graham Yallop, Allan Border, Ken MacLeay, Geoff Lawson, and Dennis Lillee.
5. Gary Gilmour (6 wickets)
The third Australian to find his place on the list is Gary Gilmour. He picked up six wickets against England in the 1975 ODI World Cup, which was also the first six-wicket haul by a player in World Cup history.
The wickets he picked were Dennis Amiss, Barry Wood, Keith Fletcher, Tony Greig, Frank Hayes, and Alan Knott. He also scored 28 runs and was awarded the Man of the Match award.
