It has been announced formally by Chelsea after various English Media journalists reported that it is almost confirmed and that the contracts were signed and the agreement was reached between all parties. Todd Boehly was surely the preferred buyer among the fans and the board which ruled out the other bidders like Sir Martin Broughton and Stephen Pagliuca. Earlier this week Roman Abramovich shut down all the rumours about himself when it was speculated by the English Media that there was a demand for money to be repaid to him by the new owner.

Overall of a huge 4.25 Billion pounds worth of deal has been agreed in which the new owners will provide 1.75 billion pounds to the club so that they can massively upgrade themselves in various factors like the development of the stadium, men’s team, women’s team, academy and many more. They would transfer 2.5 Billion pounds to a bank account which has been frozen by the UK Government because of the Russia-Ukraine conflicts. The 2.5 Billion pounds will be for charitable causes which was stated by Roman Abramovich. The UK government’s permission is crucial because they have stated that they wouldn’t agree with this deal if Roman Abramovich would receive any of the money from the agreement.
