French defender Jules Kounde has arguably been the hottest property of the 2022 summer transfer window so far, as multiple sources state that he has agreed personal terms with Catalunya club FC Barcelona, with only the fee to be finalised with his current club Sevilla.
Barcelona battle English club Chelsea for the signature of Kounde. The West London club have reportedly had a deal of €50 million + add ons rejected by Los Nervionenses, who are looking for a deal upwards over €60 million + add ons.

Jorge Mendes has been tasked by Sevilla with managing the sale of the 23-year-old, and is playing a key role in the negotiations, insisting on bonuses and a clause in the contract relating to his hamstring issues.
