The 5th Gameweek of the 2022/23 Bundesliga season kicks off with a clash between two heavyweights of the competition, Borussia Dortmund and TSG Hoffenheim.
Dortmund sit 4th in the table, winning their last match to bounce back after their 2-3 loss to Werder Bremen at the Signal Iduna Park in the second gameweek.
The visitors are seated one place above their hosts, in third place. Hoffenheim are on a three-game winning streak and have recovered well from their opening-day defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach, which they lost 3-1 and had a player sent off.
Both the teams go head-to-head to cement the third spot and to gain some momentum going deeper into the season.

Dortmund vs Hoffenheim: Match Predictions
Dortmund will have a slight advantage due to their resilience after losing a home match, as well as their overall experience and quality appearing to be slightly greater than their opponents. Five of the last six domestic meetings between these teams at the Westfalenstadion have been decided by a goal or fewer, and we expect a close game between two teams that have usually been able to be pretty tidy at the back, with the home side winning 1-0.
