Asif Ali, for his brilliant knock of 25 runs of 7 balls which includes 4 sixes in the last over, was adjudged as the Man of the Match for this match. He has shown some brilliant finishing skills in the match against New Zealand and today also. He took the game away from the opponent with a flurry of sixes.
That was really a nail biting match from the two Asian sides. With this win, Pakistan is on the brink of that semifinal spot. Afghanistan are gutted with this loss, but with their excellent NRR, they still have chances.
