The biggest question of who’ll make it to the finals of the Indian Premier League against Gujarat Titans has finally been answered. In the recent Qualifier 1 that took place on Friday, Rajasthan Royals won the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. RR won the toss and decided to bowl first and restricted the RCB batsmen to a comparable easy total of 157 runs on the board. Jos Butler shone through the second innings as he played a great knock of 106 runs off 60 deliveries. He paved the way for Rajasthan Royals to beat RCB by 7 wickets. Although, RCB lost the match, the prodigy cricketer, Rajat Patidar came out to be a lone wolf fighting for his team. He smashed an excellent innings of 58 runs off 42 deliveries. However, this isn’t the first time that Patidar has performed extraordinarily for the squad. Royal Challengers Bangalore previously defeated Lucknow Super Giants, which was a do or die match. Patidar was the key player in that match as well and contributed in great amount for RCB’s win against LSG. With a beautiful century of 112 runs, he also became the first un-capped player to hit a ton in playoffs for any team of Indian Premier League.

Rajasthan Royals will go against Gujarat Titans in the final match of the 15th season of IPL. This match will take place on the 29th of May, 2022 in The Narendra Modi Stadium; world’s largest cricket stadium. Not to mention, between the two teams, Gujarat Titans have a heavier scale of winning against Rajasthan Royals. This is because the GT squad hasn’t lost any match against the Men in Pink till now.
