Suryakumar Yadav is an Indian cricketer who represents Mumbai in Domestic cricket and Mumbai Indians in the IPL. However, he has been a consistent performer for KKR and MI in the IPL, and even in domestic cricket. He had to wait for a very long time to finally get his India cap. It was only in 2021 that he got to play his first match for the country. So far, Surya has played 7 ODIs and 14 T20Is for the country. On being asked by Gaurav about who is his best friend in the MI team, SKY talks about his bond with Ishan Kishan. Their bond can be seen in videos shared by the MI official social media pages. Both Ishan and SKY also made their international debut together against England in T20Is.
“Now, the most special one is Ishan. Gazab hai woh, You’ve to have him around. No matter what the situation is, whether we win or we lose. If you’ve lost the match, you have to have him. He has a very different vibe. He bounces from one topic to another like Traffic signal lights. he can make a coversation out of anything. Too much fun. I’ve asked my trainer to schedule my training session with him. Be it a sponsor commitment or anything, I want him around.”

Peculiar nature of wicket-keepers
As the host and SKY continued talking about Ishan’s fun behavior. Gaurav Kapoor mentioned how all the wicket-keeper-batters have a peculiar nature. Moreover, Surya mentioned how while batting together Ishan would talk about what to eat for dinner rather than cricket. “Rishabh and Ishan together are something else. I’m spending a lot of time with them since last 7 months. They can talk about anything, can eat anything. They can dip a bun in chocolate ice cream and eat it. Once they dipped a bun in ice cream, added sauce on it. The height was adding chicken on it. This combination is a burger for them. They urged me to eat it saying it would bring me luck for the next match. They can do anything for food”

He directs you to move to both left and right at the same time. when you ask him, he says I was just bored, you stay where you are. Even in the most serious stages he would say things like “What would you like to have, shall I call for some samosas and tea” (he is) Too much fun.”
