SRH vs KKR: Live Score and Update

SRH vs KKR: KKR pull off a win!

38 runs were needed off 30 balls. KKR have managed to defend it. Varun Chakravarthy bowled 3 overs for 8 runs in the final phases and clinched the big wicket of Abdul Samad. Sunrisers would be gutted to have lost from a winning position. KKR complete a sweet revenge in the reverse fixture by winning it by 5 runs.

11:00 PM: A slight drizzle is there at Hyderabad. SRH are one run ahead of the D\L par score at the end of the 18th over. Sunrisers need 21 runs in 12 balls. Rain-god can you please wait a little?

SRH vs KKR: Chase hangs in balance as Klassen falls!

The Sunrisers have accelerated well scoring 59 runs in the last 5 overs, but the architect of that boost has perished while keeping the tempo going. Markram looked scratchy but has started to open his blade.

Equation: 38 runs | 30 balls | 5 wickets in hand!.. You would expect the team to chase this 95% of the times. But with a slowing track and not much batting left, you never know! Can KKR get a couple wickets quickly? Chakravarthy and Narine together have 5 overs remaining! It seems its going to be all spin in the death overs! Fascinating Finish is up on the cards, SO STAY TUNED!!

SRH vs KKR: SRH in a spot of bother!

Anukul Roy trapped Harry Brook in front of the wicket immediately after the powerplay. He was the fourth wicket to fall for SRH tonight. The required rate is slowly climbing, and Sunrisers would have to keep an eye on it! The South African duo of Markram and Klassen are in the middle. The pitch has a history of slowing down and Nitish Rana has held his spinners back. SRH are 75/4 after 10 overs. They need 97 runs from 60 balls. KKR need to break this partnership early because the duo can turn the game in SRH’s favour in no time!

SRH vs KKR: KKR strike early!

Just the start KKR would have wanted. They removed both openers in a span of 6 deliveries with Harshit getting Mayank and Abhishek falling to Shardul Thakur. Rahul Tripathi came out counter-attacking and hit 4,6,4 off Russell but perished in trying to score another maximum. KKR will be very pleased with the start, they lost 3 in the powerplay and now they have taken 3 wickets in the powerplay. SRH 53/3 after 6 overs. They need 119 runs in 84 balls.

SRH vs KKR: KKR end up with 171!

Only 44 runs in the last five overs. Sunrisers Hyderabad have finished well here. They have kept KKR below 180. Kolkata Knight Riders have finished with 171/9 after 20 overs. They would feel they are 15 runs short at least.

The target for Sunrisers Hyderabad is 172 runs from 120 balls. This should be any easy chase but SRH have struggled with their misfiring batting-order. KKR on the other hand are dependent on their spinners to bring them in the game. Sounds like a promising second half!

Impact Player(KKR): Anukul Roy has replaced Jason Roy. KKR have opted for a batting option for the last two overs. He immediately joins Rinku Singh in the middle after Shardul’s dismissal. KKR are 155/7 after 18 overs.

SRH vs KKR: Last 5 overs coming up!

Kolkata Knight Riders have just lost Andre Russell. They are well set for a strong finish but have very less resources in hand. Rinku Singh is holding one end but he doesn’t have much support at the other end. Sunil Narine is at the crease and Shardul Thakur is next to come. KKR would hope they can cross the 180-run mark They are currently 129/5 after 15 overs.

Captain gets Captain!

Aiden Markram has removed his opposing counter part. Nitish Rana was looking to play the slog sweep but gets a top edge. The ball swirls in the air and no fielder was around to catch. Markram ran around 20 yards to reach the ball and then put in an dive to grab the ball! KKR lose their 4th wicket. Nitish Rana is replaced by Andre Russell.

SRH vs KKR: KKR in a healthy position at the halfway mark!

KKR have done well to recover after losing three wickets in the powerplay. Rinku Singh has started briskly. Ntish Rana consolidated in the phase but has found boundaries at regular intervals. He smashed Kartik Tyagi for 4,6,6 in the 10th over. The partnership is past 50 now and is going strong. KKR are 90/3 after 10 overs.

SRH vs KKR: Powerplay Done!

The KKR top-order is already back in the hut. A good start by Sunrisers Hyderabad after losing the toss. Nitish Rana and Rinku Singh are in the middle. This duo put on a solid partenrship after losing early wickets last time when these two sides met at Eden Gardens. Their partnership kept them in the hunt of a massive 228. The two find themsleves in a similaar scenario, the only difference being that they have to set a total tonight. KKR are 49/3 after 6 overs.

Tyagi removes Roy!

Another bad pull shot and another KKR batter is in the hut. This ball was pitched short and well outside-off by Tyagi. Roy went through with the pull very early and ends up edging it to short third man. KKR batters have just put themselves on self-destruct mode.

Jansen strikes twice in his first over!

Marco Jansen as removed Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Venkatesh Iyer in the same over. First Gurbaz took a wild charge down the ground and tried to swipe him on the on-side. He only manages a leading edge and Harry Brook pouches an easy catch at mid-on. Next Jansen pitches a short ball near the body to cramp him for room. Venkatesh Iyer who was looking to pull only managed to get a glove on the way to the keeper. KKR 16/2 after 2 overs. Knight Riders changed their opening combination but find themselves in similar situation once again!
