SRH vs DC: Live Score and Update
SRH vs DC: DC bowling leads a spiriting comeback!
Brilliant bowling performance from Delhi Capitals! They have defended a below-par total at a good batting wicket. They didn’t give up after a bad batting inning and it was a spirited show from their bowlers. Mukesh bowled a superb last over and defended 13 runs in the last over. A good confident booster for Delhi Capitals as they beat Sunrisers by 7 runs.
SRH vs DC: SRH falling apart
Axar Patel removes Aiden Markram before finishing his tidy spell. DC are ahead in the game now and on the verge of winning it if you may. Klassen needs to go bonkers to chase this total now. He has Washington Sundar at the other end who can hit them too. they didn’t give up and it was a spirited show from their bowlers.
Equation: 56 runs | 30 balls... Let’s find who’ll walk away with 2 points!
Ishant sends Tripathi back!
Confident appeal and up goes the finger. 139.8 kph on a good length, towards the fifth stump zone. Tripathi appears to be attempting a thunderous drive through the covers with no foot movement. He gets a faint outside edge and the keeper pouches it.
AND NOW ABHISHEK SHARMA DEPARTS! Abhishek Sharma skips down the track and half-heartedly drives it back at the bowler. Sunrisers loose wickets in a cluster. They were falling deep in the quicksand now! Markram and Klassen at the crease! SRH need 60 runs in 36 balls.
Mayank departs!
Mayank shimmies down the track and is beaten in the flight, he isn’t close to the pitch of the ball and goes through with his loft. Miscues it as he’s a bit early into the shot. Smart bowling from Axar he saw the batter and flighted this one! SRH 73/2 after 12 overs! 72 more to get!
SRH vs DC: DC crawling back with quite overs!
Last 4 overs, only 22 runs! The required rate is going up now! SRH need to find boundaries. The two batters need to score some runs quickly. They have a lot of batting still to come. SRH 58/1 after 10 overs, need 87 runs more!
Nortje knocks over Brook!
Anrich Nortje has broken the 31-run opening partnership and the struggle is over for Harry Brook. He never looked in his grove tonight, much like the season barring that hundred at Eden Garden. Mayank Agarwal is going great guns at the other end maximizing the powerplay as much as he can! SRH 36/1 at the end of the powerplay! Sunrisers last defeated DC on 27 October 2020 at Dubai! Will they do it tonight?
Impact Player(DC): Mukesh Kumar in for Sarfaraz Khan!
SRH vs DC: DC set SRH 145 to win!
Another disappointing batting performance for Delhi Capitals. They end up with 144/9 on a good batting wicket. Warner at the start and the Axar-Pandey partnership was the thing that worked in their favour. Washington’s over set DC back and they were on the back foot ever since!
Sunrisers Hyderabad need 145 runs from 120 balls. They should get this on a good batting deck. Can DC bowlers create trouble?
Impact Player (SRH): Rahul Tripathi is in for T Natarajan!
Bhuvi breaks the partnership!
A brilliant yorker by Bhuvneshwar Kumar to clean-up Axar Patel! He was trying to flick but misses the flick and the ball hits the off-stump. The very next over, A good throw from Washington Sundar catches Manish Pandey short of his crease! DC’s night goes from bad to worse! Last 6 balls left for them.
SRH vs DC: Pandey-Axar consolidate!
Delhi Capitals have done well to build a partnership after that horrific collapse. Manish Pandey and Axar Patel joined hands and have put an 44-run unbeaten stand for the 6th wicket. They have Ripal Patel to come who has a reputation of being a big hitter. DC need to finish well here. They are 106/5 after 15 overs.
Sundar strikes twice thrice!
Wicketless in the first 6 games, now takes three wickets in a span of five deliveries! Washington Sundar’s over has turned the tide of the innings. It was supported by some terrific catching by SRH fielders and rash shots by DC batters! First Warner swept and fails to keep it on the ground and finds Harry Brook. Sarfaraz swweps too and finds Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Then Aman Khan after getting a boundary plays a highly ambitious slog only to hand Abhishek Sharma a easy catch. DC 62/5 after 8 overs. The DC dugout is stunned!
Marsh departs!
It only took him 2 balls to get his highest score of IPL 2024, such was his form! He was looking today and DC fans would have expected a big score. But they would have to settle for a cameo. Pitches in line, on a short of length on middle, beats the inside-edge on the defence and thuds into the back leg. The umpire doesn’t give it! Markram reviews and the ball tracking shows three reds! Marsh departs for 25! DC 49/2 after powerplay!
Warner smashes a big one!
It may sound strange but, this is the first six for David Warner in IPL 2024. 290 runs by Warner is the most by a player before hitting a six in a season. The southpaw has Washington Sundar for a 88-meter maximum on the 5th ball off the fourth over. This is also DC’s first six in the powerplay this season.
Marsh goes after Jansen!
Mitch Marsh smashed four boundaries off Marco Jansen who looking for swing but found none. He ended up giving 19 runs in the second over of the innings.
DC are 21/1 after 2 overs.

Build-Up…
Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Delhi Capitals in the 34th game of the IPL 2024 in Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Follow the feed for SRH vs DC: Live Score and Update.
So far this season, the Sunrisers have won two of six games and are ranked second worst in the points standings. They lost the first two games, won the next two, and come into this game having lost the previous two.
The Delhi Capitals have had the worst start to their season, losing five games in a row. Their fortunes improved in their most recent match against the Kolkata Knight Riders when they earned their first victory of the season.
WHAT TO EXPECT? … The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium pitch has always been fantastic to bat on. Teams batting first have exceeded the 190-run mark twice and won both matches in the three matches played at the venue so far in the competition. As a result, the captain who wins the toss will want to bat first and put the opponent under pressure by recording a huge score.
