India still can Qualify for Asia Cup 2022 Finals

India vs Sri Lanka Asia Cup 2022: The Lankan Lions refused to get caged. Dasun Shanaka led his team to a 6-wicket win over India in the 3rd match of Super 4. While Sri Lanka has cemented a spot in the finals, the chances of India’s qualification are virtually over but mathematically still alive. Take a look at how can India still claim a spot in the Asia Cup 2022 finals despite of the back-to-back defeat.

Firstly, Rohit Sharma‘s team has to win the next match against Afghanistan to have any chances left for the same. However, if India fails to do so, they will have to back their bags.

Additionally, the results of the rest of the games have to go India’s way. That is, Pakistan must lose both the matches it’ll play against Afghanistan as well as Sri Lanka. Since Sri Lanka has already booked a spot in the final. If Pakistan wins any of the two matches, it’ll there be no chances left for India. However, if Pakistan fails to, then also India has to fight off the Net Run Rate(NRR) competition from other teams to get a chance in the eventual clash.
