Zimbabwe has the lowest-ever score in ODI cricket at just 35 runs. This came against Sri Lanka on April 25, 2004. Sri Lanka had won the toss and decided to field first. The game began with two consecutive maiden overs by the Sri Lankan bowlers.

The first wicket of the game came in the form of a run-out. Then it was Chaminda Vaas, Dilhara Fernando, and Farveez Mahroof who bowled out the Zimbabwe team.
