India Vs Pakistan T20 World Cup Match Weather Forecast: Rain to Wash Away the 23rd October Clash?

India going against Pakistan is undoubtedly the most amped-up contest in the game of cricket. The neighboring countries have set up the greatest rivalry between themselves. Moreover, their limited clashes in the game only add up to the excitement regarding their clash. India Vs Pakistan is scheduled on the 23rd of October for the T20 World Cup in Australia. Last they met in World Cup, India tasted a sour defeat at the hands of Babar and Co. And cited as the revenge match by the fans, the upcoming match holds unmatched significance.

However, recent reports from Australia hint at a hindrance in the much-anticipated clash. The match is scheduled at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on the 23rd. However, currently, Melbourne is witnessing a heavy downpour. Australia is undergoing the La Nina effect, where the summers go wetter than normal conditions. And hence, most parts of Sydney and Melbourne are surrounded by dark clouds ready to pour down anytime.

The India vs New Zealand warm-up match scheduled on Wednesday, 19th October at the Gabba was called off due to the incessant rain in Brisbane. And if we go by the reports, there’s a high chance of the India vs Pakistan game being canceled due to the rain. If not, there’s a sure-shot chance of a game with reduced overs at least. Consequently, if the rivals don’t get to see each other on the 23rd, fans will have to rely on both their chances to reach the playoffs. As they don’t have any other match lined up in the league stage.
