India Vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2022: Indian batting stalwart Virat Kohli returned to the national side in the Asia Cup 2022. After being rested for the West Indies series and missing the Zimbabwe tour. He had featured in just five matches since the IPL 2022, all against England in July.

Indian cricket supporters got to see their King back in action on August 28 in the second match of the Asia Cup 2022, against arch-rivals Pakistan. India Vs Pakistan is anyways spiced-up, however, this match witnessed Virat Kohli’s 100th T20I appearance, which made it even more remarkable. Kohli scored a stylish yet crucial 35-run knock. Which helped India anchor its innings at a critical point in the match.
Additionally, Kohli scored magnificent as well as a classic inning against Hong Kong. He scored a not-out 59 runs off 44 balls.

Known for his record-breaking abilities, Virat broke another in the same match. With this fifty he surpasses Rohit Sharma’s 31 to have the maximum 50+ scores in T20I cricket- 32. Along with this, he reached another milestone. As he overtakes Rahul Dravid in the list of most 50+ scores for India.
