Gujarat Titans Official Retention List released ahead of IPL Mini Auction 2023, 6 players released

The team has shown faith in most of the players retaining a total of 18 players from their last year’s squad.

IPL 2022 Defending Champions in its very first season Gujarat Titans Official Retention list for 2023 IPL Season is out. With now the new season of IPL 2023 incoming a mini auction is held in the month of December. All IPL teams have Retained and released some players. Here is the Gujarat Titans Official Retention List Released for 2023 IPL Season.

Gujarat Titans was one of the newest team added to the IPL 2022 season. The team was impressive and not only Won the IPL Trophy but also dominated the entire season standing top of the table. The Team was captained by the hard-hitting all-rounder Hardik Pandya. The team started the tournament with a banger winning eight matches out of the nine matches played and also won the remaining matches and ended the tournament on a high note winning 10 matches and only losing 4 matches. Tough the team won last season they will be looking to make a better team.

The team has shown faith in most of the players retaining a total of 18 players from their last year’s squad. When it comes to batting all the top-order, middle-order and lower-order performed outstanding. All the players had an Equal contribution with Captain Hardik Pandya and Young opener Shubham Gill in Front. David Miller was the main shining star for the team. The player was out of form and was almost about to end his T20 career. But under the guidance of the coaching management the player performed outstandingly well. One of the main Match winners for the team were Rashid Khan and Rahul Tewatia. The all-rounder both did the unexpected with bat and bowl. With economical and wicket taking spell and who can forget both of them finishing the match when a six was needed on the last ball against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings. The team also found many gems such has Yash Dayal, Abhinav Manohar, and Sai Sudarshan.

The list of released players by Gujarat Titans is a bit amazing. The team released four of its overseas players. Star player such has Lockie Ferguson and Jason Roy are too released by the team. Jason Roy is out of form and hasn’t played a lot of International Cricket since the last T20 World Cup 2021. Well, the release of Lockie Ferguson maybe because of the price tag and was traded to Kolkata Knight Riders. Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Dominic Gurbaz were the replacement players for injured players but they team has released them.

Gujarat Titans Official Traded in Players List:

The team hasn’t traded in any of the player from any team but has traded out two of the players. Lockie Ferguson and Rahmanullah Gurbaz are the player who are traded out to Kolkata Knight Riders.
