Adidas is Indian Cricket Team’s New Kit Sponsor

The BCCI secretary confirmed that German sporting goods multinational Adidas has been signed as the new kit sponsor for the Indian cricket team. Jay Shah confirmed this news through his Twitter handle. He tweeted: “I’m pleased to announce @BCCI’s partnership with @adidas as a kit sponsor. We are committed to growing the game of cricket and could not be more excited to partner with one of the world’s leading sportswear brands. Welcome aboard, @adidas”.

Killer Jean, the current sponsor, will only have sponsorship rights till May 31. After that Adidas will take over. Before Killer Jeans, MPL was the kit sponsor for the Indian team. In 2020, the BCCI signed a three-year deal with MPL Sports to replace American sportswear manufacturer Nike. But, MPL had transferred the rights to Kewal Kiran Clothing Limit in December last year.
