Marco Jansen currently represents the Sunrisers Hyderabad team in the IPL. He was picked up by the team in the 2022 IPL Mega Auction and has been one of the main overseas players in the squad. He was brought in the auction at the price of 4.20 crore Indian rupees, which is more than $500k per season.

Before that, he was a part of the Mumbai Indian team in 2021. He made his IPL debut with them against the Royal Challengers Bangalore and picked up two wickets.
