Battle between the two best wicket keepers!! The 53rd match of IPL 2021, scheduled at Dubai International Stadium was between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings. Terrific bowling from Punjab bowlers as they dominated CSK and restricted them to 134 runs. Therefore poor performance by CSK batters as they collapsed except one opener. His efforts helped the team to put 134 runs on the board. CSK vs PBKS Man of the Match: However the PBKS opener helped the team to an easy chase and also received the MOM award.

To start with the match, PBKS won the toss and chose to bowl first. Bowlers delivered amazing results as expected by PBKS. They gave a hard time to CSK batters and refrained from setting up. As a result wickets kept falling at regular intervals and the team continued with a slow run rate. Although the batters failed to create an impact , Faf Du Plessis was terrific. In the second innings, PBKS started off quite well. The opener KL Rahul was in attacking mode and smashed biggies. However PBKS lost two wickets in the 5th over of Mayank Agarwal and Sarfaraz Khan. So on one side where other batters were facing difficulty, KL Rahul showcased his heroics. He hit massive glorious shots and amazed everyone. He scored blistering 98 off 42 and led the team to the victory. So none of the CSK bowlers succeeded in front of them. He mustered all of them and PBKS won the match by 6 wickets and 42 balls left.

The Indian wicket keeper batter KL Rahul bags the Man of the Match award for his terrific innings. He smashed an unbeaten knock of 98 runs in just 42 balls and proved his potential yet once again. With 8 sixes and 7 fours, he scored with an unbelievable run rate of 233. His knock helped the team to decimate the target and win the match by 6 wickets. As a result PBKS have still slim chances of making it o the playoffs.
