RR vs SRH, Match 40- Man of the Match award winner
Crucial game for both the teams! The 40th match of IPL 2021, scheduled at Dubai International Stadium was between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. While RR will try to make a place in the top 4, SRH will try not to end at the last spot. So let’s have a look at the match summary. Although SRH bowlers came quite good, Sanju Samson mustered them with his brilliant knock. With less support from the other batters, RR was able to put 164 runs on the board. To begin with the match, RR won the toss and decided to bat first. Although RR lost first wicket in the 2nd over, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson provided the stability. The lower middle order gave some disappointment as they failed to perform well. On the other hand, Jason Holder and Rashid Khan were successful in delivering economical bowling.

In the second innings, SRH got a terrific start. Debutant Jason Roy smashed a gutsy knock of 60 off 42 while Williamson scored 51 off 41. The brilliant performances of openers helped SRH to seal the win easily. RR bowlers failed to restrict the SRH batters and lost the match and SRH won the match by 7 wickets. Now SRH will try to win every match from here to end at a better position.

The ace England batter made a glorious debut for SRH. Jason Roy smashed a blazing fifty to seal the win. He scored 60 off 42 at a strike rate of 142 and bagged the man of the match award. SRH will be looking towards him in the upcoming matches. He is a power hitter and can be disastrous for the bowlers.
