Chennai continued their winning streak in UAE!! The 38th match of IPL 2021, scheduled at Sheikh Zayed Stadium was between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR hopes to make a place in the playoffs. So let’s see the brief summary of this match. KKR batters performed fairly well and put 171 runs on the board. While some CSK bowlers bowled economically, Sam Curran and Hazlewood went expensive. To begin with, KKR won the toss and decided to bat first. Although they didn’t start quite well, they regained the momentum afterwards. CSK managed to pick two wickets in the powerplay. However the middle order gave a tough fight and performed well. Andre Russell, Dinesh Kartik and fired some glorious shots to put a big score for KKR. On the other hand Shardul Thakur and Ravindra Jadeja delivered spells with a low economy rate and took crucial wickets. Both sides gave a tough fight to each other.

In the second innings, CSK got a good start. Both the openers gave their best shot and made it past the powerplay without losing any wicket. While Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 40 off 28, Faf Du Plessis smashed 43 off 30. However for CSK, middle order disappointed as CSK went from 102 for 2 to 142 for 6. Lockie Ferguson also bowled the fastest bowl of the season at 153 kmph.  Despite this CSK snatched the win as Jadeja smashed a quick fire knock of 22 from 8 balls. In the last ball, Deepak Chahar sealed the win by taking one run.

One of the greatest all rounders in the world just snatched the win from KKR. Ravindra Jadeja smashed a powerful knock of 22 off 8 balls to seal the win. This knock came when CSK was in immense pressure after losing 2 wickets in a row. He also gave a hard time to KKR batters. In his 4 over spell he conceded only 21 runs and also dismissed Rahul Tripathi.
