10. Shivam Dube

Shivam Dube, the all-rounder from Mumbai, got picked by Rajasthan Royals for 4.40 Crore, which makes him the 10th highest bid player of IPL 2021. Rajasthan needed some Indian all-rounder, and they got him to Shivam. However, he is yet to flourish in his full potential in his IPL career. He will play for CSK in the IPL 2022.

9. Shahrukh Khan

Shahrukh Khan has been one of the finds of IPL. He has shown his potential in the last couple of seasons. Punjab Kings picked at 5.25 Crore this lad from Tamil Nadu. This makes him the 9th most expensive player of IPL 2021. He did pay off every penny and now has been picked again by Punjab Kings for IPL 2022.

8. Tom Curran

Tom Curran was a surprise too many as he got 5.25 Crore from Delhi Capitals. This English fast bowler had a reputation in white-ball cricket, but still, a price of 5.5 Crore too many experts was a lot. Anyway, this makes him sit at number 8 in the list of players with the highest bid in IPL 2021.

7. Moeen Ali

CSK has always been quite efficient for auctions. They have their target set, which is not in the books of any teams. CSK identified the talent and value of Moeen Ali and they went for him in 2021. They got this left-hand batter and right arm off-spinner for 7 crores. CSK has retained him for 2022 IPL.

Just like Riley Meredith, Jhye Richardson too had a great reputation. He did well for Aussies in ODI cricket and Punjab hunted him down will their might and got him at the extraordinary price of 14 crores. Punjab could have used the combination of Jhye and Riley, but no one really lasted long for various reasons. This 4th highest-bidder player of IPL 2021 played only 3 games for Punjab.

3. Glenn Maxwell

Glenn Maxwell has always been an enigmatic player of IPL, despite knowing him from all aspects of cricket. He plays superbly in one season and goes through a slump in the next. RCB in 2021 went all guns blazing and picked this all-rounder for 14.25 crore. RCB, fortunately, is now reaping the rewards of this buy as he had some wonderful outings and has now also been retained for IPL 2022.

Kyle Jamieson created havoc in the cricketing world with his brilliant bowling in Test Cricket. His extremely tall figure generates bounce and has powerful batting as well. RCB spent 15 crores for him and made him the 2nd most expensive player of IPL 2021. Kyle opted out of the auction in 2022.
