Rohit Sharma will be playing his 125th T20I, becoming the most capped T20I player. On being asked by Murali Karthik if he is aware of the fact, Rohit said “Not really” smiling. He continued, “It’s a great feeling representing your country in 125 T20Is, feels good, look to continue playing for many more years.”
In the ongoing series, Rohit scored 44 runs in the first match, closely missing a half-ton. However, he gave a strong start to the team, and the momentum was very well used as India won the match by a huge margin of 62 runs. But in the second T20I, he couldn’t contribute much as a batsman. It is his tactical mindset and the ability to wisely use his bowlers, that makes him a successful captain.
