Sadly, the past few months haven’t been good for him in terms of championships. Medvedev lost in the finals of the 2024 Australian Open, the semi-finals of the ATP World Tour Finals, the finals of the ATP Vienna, ATP Beijing, the US Open, and many more.
As a result, he is hungry for titles and is coming with all guns blazing. After his loss against Jannik Sinner at the finals of the 2024 Australian Open, his coach said Medvedev shared with him a list of players he wants to defeat.

As mentioned, Daniil Medvedev has had a stroke of hard luck in the semi-finals and finals. His last title came at the 2O23 ATP Rome. Since then, he has lost in
- 1x Quarterfinal (Halle Open and Toronto Open)
- 2x Semi-finals (Wimbledon Open and ATP World Tour Finals)
- 4x Finals (US Open, Beijing Open, Vienna Open, and Australian Open)
of different ATP tournaments, including Grand Slams.
