The 32-member list of King Clancy Memorial Trophy 2022-23 Nominees include ex-winners Matt Dumba and Patrice Bergeron.

The annually awarded King Clancy Memorial Trophy honors the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and who has made significant humanitarian contribution to his community. The first-ever King Clancy Memorial Trophy was awarded to Lanny McDonald of Calgary Flames. PK Subban won the most recent one in 2021-22 season. Three players from the Bruins, Canucks, Oilers, and Flames have won the trophy – most by any team. Meanwhile, two players each from the Detroit Red wings, Minnesota Wild, and NY Islanders have coveted the prize.
