Seattle Kraken makes their way to the postseason for the first time in their history. They have established a nice momentum and stellar chemistry, a fact so evident since 2022-23 is just the second season for the Kraken in NHL.
Earlier Today, Seattle defeated eliminated Arizona Coyotes 4-2 at Climate Pledge Arena. Jared McCann, Vince Dunn, Jordan Eberle, and Matty Beniers found the net for Seattle Kraken.

The Kraken has accumulated 96 points (44-26-8) from 78 games. They are four points behind the Kings, who are currently third with 100 points. The Kraken is ahead of the Flames, Jets, and Preds in the wildcard race.
Winnipeg Jets are the only team who can eclipse the Kraken in points. The Jets has a chance to finish the season with 97 points. Meanwhile, the Predators can equalize with the Kraken. However, Kraken has 35 Regulation Wins as opposed to Preds’ 29 (maximum: 33).
With Seattle taking up the seventh spot in the Western Conference, a single spot remains to be finalized. The competition is between the Flames (37-27-15), the Jets (43-32-3), and the Predators (40-30-8). In the East, two spots remain. The two divisions have finalized three teams each. Currently, four teams are fighting for the last two spots: The Panthers and Islanders stand the maximum chance.
