The NHL Off-season is officially underway as the Golden Knights lifted the 2024 Stanley Cup in front of home audience earlier today. Despite the powerpacked playoffs and the maiden title, Vegas aren’t somehow leading the 2024 Stanley Cup Odds. That being said, “In the ice, Future is never too far away.”
As per Bet MGM, Colorado Avalanche are the early favorites for the 2024 Stanley Cup at +800. The Avs, winners of 2021 NHL season said adios to the 2024 title race early on after a first-round exit against the Kraken. Following them are the Canadian Underdogs Edmonton Oilers at 2nd and Toronto Maple Leafs in 4th. The Oilers possess two of the best players in NHL, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisatl. Maple Leafs valued at +1200 haven’t much of an impact but they did break their first-round curse.
The current champions are valued at +1400, tied with the Devils and Rangers in 6th. The squad depth is intense and backed by excellent coaching and management. Meanwhile, their opponents in the finals, The Panthers are valued +1800. Florida, despite the humilaiting SCF came a long way with key players injured. On the worst end of the Odd are Anaheim Ducks, Montreal Canadiens valued at +25000. Seems as if the most suvvesful team in NHL will try to tank than qualify at some point.
