Everything we know:

The 22-year-old Barrett, from Mississauga, Ont., becomes the youngest player in Knicks history to earn a $100-million deal.

Wojnarowski says the deal will end weeks of speculation regarding the Knicks’ interest in Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz.

Wojnarowski said the team set a Monday night deadline to reach an agreement on a deal for Mitchell. If an agreement was not reached, the Knicks were set to finalize the Barrett extension.

Barrett is the first Knicks first-round pick to sign a multi-year extension with the franchise since Charlie Ward in 1994.
