5.Mido (Tottenham – 2005-06 )
The Egyptian forward joined the Spurs on loan from Roma . Like those campaigns, his first in Premier League was limited by injury. His second, however, brought 11 goals in 27 appearances . Spurs made his deal permanent, but the striker never found the same form. In total, Mido played another four seasons in the Premier League and scored just 9 more goals.
4.Robinho (Manchester City – 2008-09 )
In 2008, Robinho arrived at Manchester City from Real Madrid for a British record fee of 32.5 million as the cashed-up club began their spending spree. The Brazilian scored 14 times in 31 matches in his debut Premier League season, finishing as City’s top scorer in all competitions for that season. However, the following season he failed to find the net at all and featured only ten times before heading back to his homeland on loan at Santos.
3.Benni McCarthy ( Blackburn – 2006-07 )
In his first season in the Premier League, the Blackburn Rovers scored one more goal than Cristiano Ronaldo. But he never really replicated the heights of his debut season. McCarthy scored just once in his final season with Blackburn and then failed to score a single goal in two years with West Ham. Most recently, the ex-striker managed Cape Town City in his homeland.

2.Mikael Forssell ( Birmingham City – 2003-04)
The Finnish forward joined Chelsea in 1998, but it was on loan at Birmingham City in the 2003-04 campaign where he truly announced himself and then quickly faded once again. Forssell scored 17 goals in 32 Premier League matches, guiding the Blues to 10th as he finished fifth for the Golden Boot. He failed to make a mark on his return to Stamford Bridge, and soon found himself back at Birmingham. Half of the Fin’s career goal tally in the English top-flight came in that incredible campaign; those matches excluded, the other half came across 96 appearances. He also played for Hannover, Leeds United, HJK, Vfl Bochum, and HIFK before retiring in 2017.
