The Champions League is always the biggest stage for European football and it is the most obvious thing that teams all over Europe will fight for the spots for automatic qualification. Though in the later period, Italian clubs don’t hold a glorious performance on the stage of the champions, they are building a legacy. This year, two Italian clubs will face each other and thus ensure one Italian spot in the final. But if we can observe the league stages of Italy, the competition is a tight one.
With 6 clubs and 7 point difference, it will indeed be a tight race for the spot. The Serie A has four spots for the UCL and we can practically see Napoli win the league as they are on a level of their own and they have a 18 points lead. Now we come to the best of the rest, there is Lazio, Juventus, AC Milan, Roma, Atalanta, and Inter who will fight it out among themselves. Also Read: Liverpool Vs Tottenham: Preview And Predictions
Lazio sits in second place with 61 points and is followed by Juve with 60 points. Then comes both the red and blue side of Milan who has 57 points, Roma and Atlanta follow them with 57 and 55 points in hand.
Juve will not have the easiest run as they will also be playing in the Europa League. They can qualify if they win the whole thing but even in the league standard, it isn’t a hard path for them. Except for Atalanta, they won’t be having a big match and if there aren’t any upsets, they can confirm their European tickets. Also Read: Transfer News And Rumors, 28th April 2023
The Fourth place for the qualification will be a steller contest, indeed. 3 of the teams contesting have exactly 57 and are followed by Atalanta with 55. Both the Milan sides will be facing each other and can drain the energy, but one of them will have the chance to win the UCL and can snatch the qualification. Now Roma is an underdog, and though they will have some big faceoffs, Mourinho has the big match experience. He can truly gift Roma a road to remember.
Our Prediction- Napoli Grabs the top spot by a landslide. They will be followed by Lazio, Juve, and Roma. Though Inter and AC Milan will give them a tough fight, they will just qualify for the spot. Also Read: Premier League: Manchester City Climb To Top, Late Drama At Anfield.
