Manchester United Targets Roma Striker As Alternative To Harry Kane

Lately, we can see that Manchester United is onto something, they are trying to build a legacy, and they are going to relive the greatness from the past. Ten Hag is no sir Alex, but he took his time to build the golden Empire and if Ten Hag is given enough time, he will make a team that will compete on the grandest stages. Red Devils lately are in search of a new No 9 after they parted ways with Ronaldo and their first-team strikers are often on the injured list.

So they wanted to bring the man who is completely tired and tasted of the pressure of the Premier League. Harry Kane sits level with Rooney, scoring 208 goals in the English League. But he has been a loyal asset to Spurs. And as they are demanding a big check, Manchester United is clearly looking for other options. So they move their sight from the present English number 9 to the future one. Now they target Tammy Abraham, the ex-Chelsea striker.

Tammy Abraham had a fantastic previous season. He scored 27 goals and became the highest-scoring Englishman in a Serie A campaign. He added 9 more to that tally this season. Read More- Biggest Transfer News And Rumors for 1st May 2024

Abraham will have a hefty price tag as he is young and has a successful name. They will have to pay around £60-£70 mil to get his service. Chelsea also has a buyback clause that costs around $88 Million.

There are some other names that are floating around such as Victor Osimhen and Kolo Muani. But Osimhen has Bayern as his most probable destination and Kolo Muani is also eyed by the German giants. Tammy might be a great fit for the club and the system.
