Warwickshire Signs Indian All-Rounder Krunal Pandya For Royal London Cup

Krunal following the footsteps of teammate Washington Sundar who too is playing county cricket to improve his form.

Indian allrounder Krunal Pandya has decided to participate in England’s Royal London Cup One-Day-International Championship to return to form, PTI reported. He will play for the English county side Warwickshire. The tournament will be played between August 2 to 23.

Pandya has made 19 T20I and five ODI appearances for India, to date. In total, he has featured in 76 List A matches scoring 2,231 runs at an average of 37 and taking 89 wickets. The left-arm all-rounder had made his ODI debut against England in Pune in 2021 and struck the fastest half-century (26 balls) in history by a debutant in ODI cricket.

ON THE OTHER SIDE KRUNAL SAID,

Warwickshire will play eight group-stage matches in the Royal London Cup competition. The home ground for four league matches will be Edgbaston. The top three teams at the end of the group stage will advance to the knockouts.
