Team India has been seen doing high-intensity training sessions with all players giving their 100% to retain the Asia Cup with themselves. Interestingly, former India captain star Virat Kohli was sweating it out along with his teammates in Dubai. He was wearing a high-altitude mask during his training. Virat was captured running on the ground while wearing a high-altitude mask.
Because of his run drought this year, Virat Kohli has received a lot of criticism. His previous international century came more than a thousand days ago. Kohli has played for India in 70 matches, making 2,648 runs in 84 innings, averaging 34.84 runs per innings. Since his previous international century, he has scored 25 half-centuries in all formats.

2022 a tough phase yet Asia Cup turning out a decent campaign for Kohli
Kohli has had a challenging time, especially in 2022. In the six T20I matches Kohli has played for his team so far this year, he has scored 175 runs at an average of 35. In the format, he has achieved a high score of 59* this year. Across all formats this year, he has represented India in 18 matches and across 21 innings, he has been able to score only 570 runs at an average of 28.50. Only five half-centuries have come off his bat, with the best score of 79.
However, Virat Kohli so far has performed well in the Asia Cup. He has scored 94 runs in two games. His top innings was against Hong Kong, where he scored an undefeated 59*. Virat has scored second-highest runs in the tournament so far. Topping the list is Pakistan’s Mohammed Rizwan, who has 121 runs in two games.
