Why will RR wear a special jersey against Mumbai Indians?
The inaugural season of IPL still reminisces fresh in our hearts. Firstly because there was so much excitement around as India was to host the world’s biggest franchise cricket league. Secondly because it was won by the underdogs of that season, Rajasthan Royals. The skipper then was the Australian spin maestro Shane Warne who led the Royals to win the inaugural IPL title. But unfortunately, in March this year, news of Shane Warne’s untimely demise from a suspected heart attack shook the entire world. Rajasthan Royals will be paying a tribute to Warne on Saturday ahead of their match against Mumbai Indians. The franchise on Friday revealed the special ‘SW23’ jersey that the squad would be wearing in the match against Mumbai Indians as a tribute to the legendary spinner.
