Ravindra Jadeja made a blunder in his first match as captain, Ambati Rayadu got involved in Mix-up
In the opening game of IPL 2022, CSK was up against KKR at the famous Wankhede stadium. KKR won the toss and asked CSK to bat first on a tricky wicket. CSK who are defending their title this season didn’t get the ideal start they wanted. Umesh Yadav removed both the openers in the powerplay on single-digit scores. The whole responsibility was on the shoulders of the experience middle order of CSK. Robin Uthappa did get a start but couldn’t convert it into a big one.

CSK lost wickets in a Crucial stage of the match
Captain Ravindra Jadeja promoted himself in the batting order after looking at the situation. CSK was slowly trying to get out of the trouble while Jadeja and Rayadu were battling out in the middle. The score was 52 FOR 3 when something Tragic happened between both the batsmen. Jadeja was on strike and he asked for a nothing run of Narine’s delivery where Rayadu did respond to his captain’s call. The shot went straight into the hands of Shreyas Iyer who was waiting for the opportunity inside the 30yard circle. Iyer threw the ball quickly towards the bowler end where Rayadu wasn’t able to reach back in time.
