On Tuesday, Veteran Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar picked his four favorites that have the highest chances to make it to the semifinals in the 2022 T20 World Cup. The 49-year-old has the hosts, defending champions Australia, alongside England from group 1 in the list. Moreover, he picked the Men and Blue and the Men in Green from group 2.

Moreover, Tendulkar mentioned that he wants India to end the wait for the second title. India will commence its campaign against arch-rival Pakistan on October 23 at the MCG.

New Zealand and South Africa are the Dark Horses, said Sachin Tendulkar

Further, the former cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar stated that the previous edition’s runner-ups, New Zealand are the dark horses in the tournament. While South Africa cannot be taken lightly, as the pitch conditions in Australia are similar to what they have back home.

“I would obviously want India to be the champions but my top four would be India, Pakistan, Australia and England. New Zealand are the dark horse as are South Africa… These are the conditions South Africans get to encounter at home in September-October. They are used to such conditions.”

Sachin Tendulkar said in an interview with Telegraph India.
