MS Dhoni Finally Speaks Up About Ravindra Jadeja’s Injury And Exit From IPL 2022, Says “There’s no one who can replace him”

MS Dhoni, the skipper of Chennai Super Kings has opened up about Ravindra Jadeja's injury and him not being able to be a part of the remaining of IPL 2022. Dhoni said it's hard to replace Jadeja as there's no one who could fill the void of his presence in the team.

Ravindra Jadeja was recent ruled out of the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League 2022. He has not been able to play further in the tournament owing to a physical rib injury. This abstains him from performing on the field. However, it was a big blow for the Chennai Super Kings team. The current skipper of CSK, MS Dhoni finally speaks up about Ravindra Jadeja’s injury and exit from IPL 2022. Dhoni said that it is pretty tough to replace Ravindra Jadeja as no other player can fill his void in the team. Also, the proficient all-rounder perceived the team management in such a way that they could make the players play with different combinations based on preferred situations in the game. The skipper also appreciated Jaddu’s excellent fielding skills. 

MS Dhoni’s shed some reaction on the all-rounder’s exit from IPL during the toss at CSK vs MI match and his exact words were, “If you see somebody like Jaddu, the kind of potential he has. It’s not about a player. There are certain players that allow playing certain compositions. You can work around a combination depending on the situation. He is definitely someone who helps us try different combinations. Not to forget his fielding. I don’t think there’s anybody who can replace him.”

Ravindra Jadeja was chosen to be the skipper of the Chennai Super Kings after MS Dhoni stepped down from the captaincy. Jaddu did captain the team for most of the 15th season. However, he eventually handed over the captaincy back to MS Dhoni after losing 6 out of 8 matches played under his premiership. Jadeja played 10 matches in IPL 2022 and scored a total of 116 runs. With the ball, he took 5 wickets altogether

CSK played their recent match yesterday on 12th May, 2022 against Mumbai Indians and got the opportunity to bat first. They put up a weak total of 97 runs which the batting line-up of MI easily tackled. Mumbai Indians won the match by 5 wickets. It was a knock-out game for CSK and as they lost, they’re out of the Indian Premier League 2022
