MS Dhoni’s career so far

The T20 World Cup (2007), ODI World Cup (2011), and Champions Trophy are the three ICC trophies that Dhoni has won, making him the only skipper in the history of the sport to do so (2013). India achieved the top rank in both the Test and ODI formats of the sport because to Dhoni’s leadership.

When he guided a young Indian team to victory in the first T20 World Cup in South Africa in 2007, he officially began serving as captain. He later rose to prominence as one of the sport’s most distinguished skippers.

During the 15th season of the Indian Premier League, Dhoni last participated in a game. In 2017, he resigned as the captain of India in all competitions, but he has continued to serve as Chennai Super Kings’ strong captain.

After Ravindra Jadeja resigned as captain of the team, he took over as captain once more. The left-handed all-rounder took over as captain when MS Dhoni resigned two days before the start of the IPL 2022.
