5. Cameron White – 58.33

Australian Cameron White features at number 5 in the list of most successful IPL captains. He has a winning percentage of 58.33. Cameron played for RCB, Deccan Chargers, and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. He was the captain of Deccan Chargers in 2013 and SRH in 2014. As a captain, White has played 12 matches as the leader of the pack. White won 7 games out of 12.

MS Dhoni is the only captain who has been wearing the captain’s crown since the start of IPL in 2008. He will continue to lead CSK for IPL 2022. He was the captain of RPS when they reached their first IPL final in 2017. Smith did captaincy in 42 games, winning 25 of them which makes him the 2nd most successful captain of IPL.

Rohit Sharma is the most successful IPL captain. This all-format captain of India has been at the helm of MI since 2013. In 8 seasons under Rohit, MI have tasted an IPL title success 5 times. Talking about numbers, Rohit has led MI in 116 games winning 70 of them. This makes the winning percentage of 60.34 and which tells that he is the most successful IPL captain.
