5. Shane Warne (Australia)

He has taken 37 Test fifers and a single ODI fifer, along with 10 Test ten-wicket hauls.

4. Waqar Younis (Pakistan)

The Famous pacer from the Nineties to joins the list, the right-arm fast bowler is regarded as one of the greatest bowlers to have played the game. His late inswingers with lethal pace were his main arsenal which shattered the bails off within no time. Waqar is fourth on the list achieving this feat in 118 matches against India in 1996, 6years 147days since his debut. Waqar Younis holds the record for the best bowling figures as a captain in an ODI(7/36). In addition, He was also the first captain to take a 7 wicket haul in an ODI inning and has the record of most number of 4 wicket hauls(27).

3. Allan Anthony Donald (South Africa)

Donald is a former South African cricketer who is now a cricket coach. Often nicknamed as ‘White Lightning’, He is considered one of the South Africa national cricket team’s most successful pace bowlers. He is the third-fastest to achieve this feat in just 117 matches playing against Zimbabwe on 29th May 1999, 7 years 200 days since his debut in 1991. Donald ended a superb career with 272 ODI Wickets and 330 wickets from 72 Tests at a very acceptable strike rate of less than 50.

2. Brett Lee (Australia)

The former Australian speedster is the second fastest to take 200 ODI wickets in just 112 ODIs. Considered one of the best bowlers of his generation, only Muttiah Muralitharan took more ODI wickets than Lee from 2000-2009. He achieved this feat in the Oval stadium playing against England long back in 2005. Later on, he became the fastest bowler in history to take 350 wickets in just 202 matches in 2011.

1. Saqlain Mushtaq ( Pakistan)

Toppling the list from past 20 years Saqlain made his debut on 29, September 1995 and very soon established himself as a talented off break spin bowler. He is credited with the invention of the “Doosra”, an off-spinner’s delivery bowled with an action similar to that of an off-break. However, it spins in the opposite direction confusing the batsmen, which makes it an effective weapon. Later he when on to invent “Teesra” and “Chautha” as well. He currently holds the world record of taking the fastest 200 ODI wickets in just 104 matches and in 3years and 249days which he achieved long back on 5th June 1999 vs South Africa in Nottingham Stadium. The spin maestro presently is the Head coach of the Pakistani Cricket Team.
