Axar Patel, the Indian as well as Delhi Capitals’ spinner has made his entry to one of the most exclusive clubs in terms of achievement in the game of Cricket. As he has added one more milestone in his professional records, Axar Patel joins Ravindra Jadeja. With this he becomes the 2nd Indian all-rounder to take 100 IPL wickets as well as score 1000 runs. The first Indian player to achieve this was CSK’s spinner and all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja who currently has 132 wickets in 210 matches.
Axar accomplished this breakthrough during the match of Delhi Capitals against Punjab Kings which took place on Monday. Patel took a total of 2 wickets by conceding just 14 runs. He scalped the batsman on the only second ball he played. As a result of excellent performance by the spinner, Delhi Capitals managed to secure the win by 17 runs.

He has constantly proved his worth by performing systematically and with utmost dedication through the years. He also became the 17th bowler to get 100 wickets all-inclusive in IPL. Being an all-rounder, he also has a total of 1116 runs in the 9 years of playing in the Indian Premier League. Axar is a part of the Delhi Capitals squad and the team is presently at the 4th position on the Points Table.
